The Royal Show is the UK’s leading agricultural show which is organised and presented by the Royal Agricultural Society of England. Held over four days, welcoming over 100,000 visitors, the Show prides itself on being one of the best events of its kind, celebrating and showcasing all aspects of food, farming and rural life.

The Directorate General for Health and Consumers and the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development held a joint stand at the Royal Show with a full programme of events during the four days of the show (debates and presentations). Games and quizzes were organized for the whole family. Representatives from the European Commission and experts were available to answer technical questions from farmers and the industry. Publications and leaflets were made available for the public.
