(van) - National Show of Livestock Exhibition, Brno
The National Show of Livestock and Agricultural Equipment changed Brno, for four days, into a crossroad of farmers. At the Exhibition Centre altogether 220 exhibitors presented their equipment, technologies, products and services for agriculture, another 180 breeders had 530 farm animals (livestock) on display. Discussions on the highest level, business appointments, specialist presentations, practical shows and also entertainment program for the public took place. The European Commission, Directorate-General for Health and Consumers, with its Roadshow too also part in the National Show of Livestock Exhibition. The European Commission representatives were highly supported by the presence of national experts who really contributed to add value to the Roadshow's presence with their experience, professionalism and enthusiasm.
The show was of an extraordinary interest. The first two days were attended in particular by trade visitors, at the weekend by the general public. Within three days the show was viewed by almost 33 000 visitors, total number of visitors has been estimated to exceed 40 000 persons.
