National authorities play a crucial role in communicating biosecurity messages to farmers, veterinarians and the general public. In particular, they can ensure that the right messages are conveyed, in line with EU and national requirements. As such, they will be associated to this initiative, especially the group of Chief Veterinary Officers and the Customs Policy Group, its equivalent for customs matters.

In addition, the following organisations provided invaluable assistance to the EU Veterinary Week, helping develop tools and actions, promoting the project to their members, and drafting the key messages.
